CitiQuest.com Inc., moving “to redefine
the category of online city guides,” launched a national network of portals
offering consumers access to local information for over 850 cities throughout
the United States.

The sites feature access to “a faster, more complete resource” identifying
local
options for restaurants, entertainment, job listings, new home loans and
even directions to the hottest new places in town, the company said.

The CitiQuest.com network offers a menu-driven database of more than 11
million businesses, including each city’s own home page, with more than 2,500
categories in the directory’s menu system.

CitiQuest.com users can register
on the site for access to free, personalized calendars, address books and
e-mail capabilities.

“CitiQuest.com represents the new generation of online city guides with its
national reach, covering more cities, in every state, than its competitors
and offering users a one-stop destination for local information,” said Daniel
Johnson, co-founder and CEO of CitiQuest.com.

“Forming the right strategic
relationships combined with increasing our national reach will allow us to
leap into the forefront of the city guide arena.”

To promote the launch, CitiQuest.com is sponsoring a Volkswagen New Beetle
sweepstakes contest on Yahoo! By entering the contest, consumers
also automatically become registered as CitiQuest.com members.
