Hip-Hop Hits the Web with iCAST

Hip-hop personality
Push will collaborate with iCAST to produce a variety of new hip-hop
programs.

“We look forward to working with Push and providing him a new online platform
to develop and share new types of hip-hop programming,” said Jeff Teicher,
director of production at iCAST.

“We think his innovative and passionate
approach to celebrating hip-hop culture on icast.com will help inspire our
members to do the same.”

As an iCAST hip-hop persona, Push will help co-produce and host a variety of
interactive multimedia programs. They will include exclusive interviews,
radio, news and other hip-hop related material.

“The creative possibilities with iCAST are wide open, and I’m happy to work
with a company so committed to supporting one’s individual creative
expression,” Push commented.

“We will entertain and educate our audience
through all the elements of hip-hop, focusing on the positive aspects of this
cultural phenomenon.”

ICAST’s Web site will provide a multifaceted platform,
enabling Push to reach a wide audience of hip-hop fans and further promote
his programs in a dynamic and interactive format.

As host and original member of 88hiphop.com, which was acquired by Pseudo
Networks in May 1996, Push was among the first personalities to produce
hip-hop programming for the Web. His show brought the people, lifestyle and
culture of hip-hop online in a creative and interactive format.

Push’s 88hiphop.com programs consisted of interviews with guest DJs, live
studio performances, audience chats and a variety of hip-hop related
performances and material.

The show featured exclusive interviews with
leading hip-hop artists, including Nas, Africka Bambaataa, Wutang Clan, Big
Pun, Slick Rick, Phase 2, Rock Steady Crew and Big Daddy Kane.
