Impulse
Software

released Impulse 4.0, an upgrade to its e-commerce site builder that allows
any non-technical small business owner to create and manage a sales Web site
using any ISP.

The company said Impulse 4.0 is more than just a shopping cart program and can
be used to create a fully functional and secure commerce-enabled site in less
than 30 minutes. Merchants can incorporate their product descriptions and
price list and publish them to the Internet without any other Web development
tool.

The product can be used to add e-commerce to an existing Web site or build a
commerce-enabled site from scratch. It integrates with popular business
accounting packages like QuickBooks and Peachtree.

Impulse 4.0 includes a credit card verification and transaction Module and
provides access to a secure server with no additional charges. The system is
delivered standard with both SSL and PGP 5.5.

The Impulse 4.0 package sells for a suggested retail price of $295 and
includes Web-site management and online commerce software, 60 days of free
upgrades within version as well as technical support, and access to additional
commerce resources available from the Impulse Software Web site. For an
additional $99, users can also purchase an extended license that provides a
full year of technical support, all upgrades within the version,
and discounts on later releases.
