Interelate Adds Net Perceptions’ Apps to Its Solutions

Customer intelligence ASP Interelate Inc. signed a deal with Net Perceptions Inc. to host and
deploy the latter’s real-time personalization and data analysis software.


Financial arrangements were not disclosed.


Working together, the companies said, they will help e-commerce businesses
implement sophisticated systems that personalize customer interactions and
develop targeted marketing programs to improve sales and profitability. The
companies also will cooperate on marketing and sales efforts.


Interelate will host Net Perceptions’ recommendation software — including
Net Perceptions for E-Commerce and its suite of marketing and merchandising
analytics.


“Interelate’s goal is to align itself with leaders like Net Perceptions to
create for our customers a Web-based infrastructure for ongoing customer
intelligence ” said Wade Myers, chief executive officer at Interelate.


“Our agreement with Interelate brings Net Perceptions a proven distribution
model and focused analytics expertise that expands opportunities for
businesses to use Net Perceptions’ personalization and customer analytics ”
said Steve Larsen, Net Perceptions senior vice president.


Net Perceptions software is designed to help retailers understand customers
individually, optimize product assortments, prices and inventories and offer
the right product to the right customer at the right price.
