Employment network JobOptions signed a placement deal with
ISP EarthLink
that gives EarthLink members one-click access to the online job network.

The “Premiere Partnership” between the two companies makes JobOptions the
default career channel on the EarthLink Personal Start Page, the customizable
launch page for EarthLink members.

Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

Through a co-branded site, EarthLink’s
1.566 million members can search job listings, post resumes, register for
automatic e-mail notification of jobs matching their criteria, search the employer database,
and view career management information online.

“Our partnership with EarthLink aggressively increases JobOptions’ outreach
by making deep employment resources available to EarthLink’s 1.5 million-plus
members,” said JobOptions President Michael Forrest.

“Our co-branded approach allows our partners to keep users on their site.”

In September, EarthLink and MindSpring announced plans to merge in a
transaction that will create the world’s second largest Internet service
provider behind America Online.
