Online music provider Beatnik Inc. Wednesday announced that its Mixman
Studio DJ music remix software can be digitally downloaded for both
Macs and PCs.
The company also released 15 D*Plates* from a variety of artists.
“We are excited to be able to provide Mixman Studio in a downloadable
version, giving everyone instant access to our line of software,” said Josh
Gabriel, chief of consumer products for Beatnik and founder of Mixman. “We
hope downloading Mixman Studio straight from the source, coupled with a vast
selection of D*Plates and Soundiscs available online, will encourage
enthusiasts to create a wide range of new and exciting music.”
Both the Mixman software and D*Plates can be purchased at online directly at
mixman.com.
The downloadable versions of Mixman Studio for PC and Mac have a retail price
of $19.95. Soundiscs are available for $49.95 each.
