Online grocery company Peapod Inc. named Robert S. Goodale, 64, to the company’s board of directors, bring the board to six members, four of whom are outsiders.
Goodale has held several senior management positions in the food industry,
including president and chief executive officer for Harris Teeter Inc., a high
end, Southeastern grocery retailer.
He also served as president and chief executive officer of Sunstate Dairy and
Foods
Co. (1991-1992) and president and COO of Finevest Foods (1989-1991).
