Preview Travel Inc. in San Francisco
opened an online travel store on its Web site featuring products from
TravelSmith, Samsonite, REI, Chip Shot Golf and N2K’s Music Boulevard.

“In our effort to provide a complete, one-stop-shopping travel service, we are
committed to ensuring that our customers have the best travel shopping
experience possible,” said Barrie Seidenberg, executive vice president of
Preview Travel’s online services. “The Travel Store offers our 5 million
subscribers a great way to prepare and pack for tropical vacations, business
trips or weekend getaways.”

As part of the new service, Preview Travel will offer comprehensive “packing
lists.” These unique packing lists offer recommendations on clothing and gear
for all types of travel from safaris to business trips. These packing lists,
made available by TravelSmith, are featured within the Travel Store, as well
as integrated into Preview Travel’s Destination Guides and Vacation Center.

In addition to being available at previewtravel.com, the Travel Store will be
the featured travel shop within Excite’s shopping channel, the company said.
Financial arrangements of that deal were not disclosed.

Preview Travel offers airline tickets, car rentals, hotels, vacation packages
and cruises, as well as integrated access to travel information, news and
resources
