RocketCash, Cybergold Partner

Teen shopping operation RocketCash signed a partnership with Cybergold that gives parents the ability
to earn cash and transfer it to their teens’ RocketCash account.

“Cybergold and RocketCash have created the ability to translate Internet
incentive rewards into online purchases for teens,” said Jeffrey Mason,
co-founder and CEO of RocketCash. “This partnership gives RocketCash
customers yet another method to fund their accounts.”

Financial arrangements between the companies were not disclosed. The program
will begin this spring. Each unit of Cybergold (worth one U.S. dollar) will
transfer into one dollar of RocketCash.

“This program gives our members more options with their Cybergold dollars,”
said Dan Berger, general manager of Cybergold’s Incentives Division.
“Partnering with RocketCash allows us to meet teen demand for our service.”

Cybergold rewards consumers with cash for responding to Web-based
advertisements and programs. RocketCash allows teens to shop online without a
credit card, in a safe, teen friendly environment. Its merchant partners
include Amazon.com, Alloy,
ARTISTdirect, Barnesandnoble.com, CDNOW, Delia’s, Fogdog Sports, JCrew,
Pacific Sunwear and Reel.com.
