GoingToTheRace.com is launching Feb.
20 as a travel site designed to assist auto racing fans with travel plans,
and offering race schedules, track information, accommodations, maps and
weather data.

By pairing the top racing series — NASCAR, GrandAm Road Racing, Championship
Auto Racing Teams (CART), and Indy Racing League — with trip planning needs,
GoingToTheRace.com claims to be the only Web site of its kind.

The site offers detailed hotel, campground and parking information. The
mapping tool, powered by MapQuest, creates door-to-door directions from any
addresses requested. AccuWeather supplies hourly weather updates for every
race location. Site visitors also can find golf courses, restaurants, bars
and attractions near each race to plan a getaway with ease.

“GoingToTheRace.com is designed to put all the information race-goers need
right at their fingertips. This all-inclusive site makes going to a race
simple and fun,” said Brian Rowe, president and creator of the
GoingToTheRace.com company and Web site.
