Juno Online Services Inc. Wednesday outsourced management of its Juno Shopping Channel to WizShop Inc. with the goal of improving Juno users’ online shopping experiences.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will share revenues generated by purchases. WizShop will manage the content and tools on the channel, and expand it through direct links to Web merchants like Walmart.com, JCrew.com and Toysrus.com. In addition to its tools, WizShop will provide special product offers, date reminders and merchant ratings.

The deal also calls for WizShop to compensate Juno for supplementary advertising revenue it generates as a result of the partnership.

“The WizShop partnership helps us meet our goal of offering our subscribers all the benefits of the Web within the easy-to-use Juno environment,” said David Jakubowski, Juno’s vice president for business development. “We believe that the enhanced features of the new Shopping Channel, in particular its personalization capabilities, will appeal to Juno users and help us expand our e-commerce offerings.”
