Microsoft Reveals Details of Dynamics CRM 2011

Salesforce.com put customer relationship management (CRM) software on the map, but the company faces plenty of worthy competitors including software giant Microsoft.


As eCRMGuide reports, Microsoft revealed details of the next version of its Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 at its Worldwide Partner Conference. Among the new features is tighter integration with several widely-used Microsoft applications.


Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) announced today that the next version of its customer relationship management (CRM) solution will be publicly available as a beta release in September.


Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 — code-named “CRM5” — includes stronger integration with Microsoft Outlook and Office, new visualization and collaboration features, and a more prominent role for partners.
