Crossroads Systems, a global provider of connectivity for storage networking solutions, today announced that EMC Corporation has qualified the Crossroads 4×50 storage router product line to be E-Lab Tested.

According to the companies, the E-Lab Tested designation signifies full interoperability with EMC’s Symmetrix(R) and CLARiiON(R) information storage systems. E-Lab Tested is the centerpiece of the EMC’s E-Infostructure(tm) Interoperability Program. It qualifies the interoperability of third-party products within the EMC Enterprise Storage Network (ESN).

“We are excited Crossroads has successfully met the performance and reliability requirements of EMC’s exhaustive interoperability testing program,” said Rich Lautzenheiser, vice president of marketing for Crossroads. “The 4×50 product line demonstrates industry-leading interoperability and is an ideal choice for EMC storage networks. Crossroads and EMC have worked closely to help our mutual customers gain more business value from their information resources.”
