nStor Technologies, Inc. this week announced it has partnered with Insight corporation. Insight will now offer the NexStor 3000 series of Fibre Channel and SCSI RAID solutions.
“As we look to grow our business with enterprise-level customers, a tremendous opportunity exists in the storage arena,” said Dino Farfante, chief operating officer for Insight. “To successfully penetrate this market, we’ve partnered with nStor, and we are very pleased that they will be an integral part of our effort to enter this industry.”
According to Insight, it selected the NexStor product family based on several factors, including: a platform-independent nature; high-density packaging, which provides customers with significant storage capacity in a very small footprint; and an aggressive price-to-performance ratio. Under the terms of the agreement, nStor will also team with Insight to provide training, installation and on-site support services.
