PowerFile Introduces Enterprise DVD Jukebox

PowerFile this week announced the $4,999 PowerFile C200E Enterprise Edition(TM), which is PowerFile C200 DVD/CD jukebox combined with OTG/Smart Storage’s SmartStor(R) Archive software.


According to PowerFile, the PowerFile C200 Enterprise Edition integrates OTG/Smart Storage’s SmartStor(R) Archive read-only software to provide single drive letter access, directory and file cache abilities, and Windows and Macintosh client support. With SmartStor(R) Archive read-only software, PowerFile claims, C200E Enterprise Edition owners can tailor their storage needs to their growth while maintaining seamless, immediate file access through a customized PowerFile and Smart Storage intuitive interface.


“We have created an enterprise storage jukebox that benefits both the end-user and the IT professional responsible for enterprise storage,” said Chris Stevens, PowerFile’s founder and CEO. “The PowerFile C200E is multi-platform, reliable, easy to install and use, and provides more storage per dollar than any other product.”
