Procom Technology’s NetFORCE 3000 Series NAS filers running DUET storage management software has received Microsoft HCL certification after meeting Microsoft standards for compatibility with the Windows family of operating systems.


“By offering customers a Microsoft supported unified storage solution for Exchange and SQL Server, Procom is demonstrating its ability to provide leading-edge technology for the Windows environment that meets all storage needs,” said Parsa Rohani, vice president of marketing and strategic development for Procom. “We are pleased to be working with Microsoft to offer users a full-range network storage solution that combines the best technology with industry leading price-performance and unrivalled customer support.”


According to the companies, all NetFORCE 3000 Series NAS filers running DUET have been rigorously tested and can safely and properly run Windows 2000 and Windows NT operating systems as well as any related Microsoft application including Exchange and SQL Server. The NetFORCE 3000 series scales to 17 terabytes and offers both file and block-level access to data.
