DLT Solutions Inc. and QLogic Corp. announced they have made QLogic’s Fibre Channel SAN Solutions available to federal, state and local government agencies on the GSA Schedule through DLT Solutions.
The companies said SAN solutions on the GSA schedule include QLogic’s SANblade Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs), SANbox Fibre Channel switches and high port count director products. The QLA2100, QLA2200 and QLA2300 Series SANblades are also offered. According to the companies, these HBAs, based on QLogic’s ISP(TM) Architecture, provide all the benefits of Fibre Channel technology, including fabric connections for hundreds of devices, bandwidth up to 400 MB/s (full duplex) and distances up to 20 kilometers.
Linking multiple hosts and storage resources, SANbox products create an intelligent connectivity framework to help users share and efficiently access stored data. SANbox products are available in single- or multi-switch configurations of any size. Director products, offering up to 256 ports, are engineered with integrated reliability, availability and serviceability (RAS) features.
The companies expect that QLogic’s recently expanded partnership with INRANGE Technologies will bolster DLT’s ability to deliver high-performance, end-to-end storage networking solutions, as well as provide enhanced service and support levels to Government customers and partners.
