Seagate Removable Storage Solutions Launches Tape-Centric Website

Seagate Removable Storage Solutions (RSS), a Seagate company and a leading manufacturer of computer tape drive and tape head products, today announced the launch of a separate tape-centric website: http://rss.seagate.com .


Brad Renfree, director, product line management for Seagate Removable Storage Solutions, said “The new site enables us to better serve our tape customers by providing a website platform designed specifically to support tape users’ unique needs as well as an avenue to share with the public, the strengths of tape backup and the synergy of Seagate and its partners.”


The company said the new website focuses on the products and services that support Seagate customers interested in tape backup and restore solutions. The site supports three tape product lines based upon LTO Ultrium, DDS and Travan formats offered by RSS.
