SOTAS, a global provider of network management software applications, and storage leader EMC Corporation today announced an alliance designed to provide customers with integrated solutions.
According to the companies, the alliance includes technical and marketing initiatives to optimize and integrate EMC’s leading storage systems and software with SOTAS network management software.
“By building an alliance between EMC’s and our technology, we can further enhance our solutions and continue to deliver innovative, powerful, and flexible solutions that meet our customers’ specific business needs,” said Brian Brown, vice president of marketing and alliances, SOTAS.
The companies plan on leveraging EMC’s industry software and systems, including Symmetrix(R) Enterprise Storage, EMC Celerra File Server, and CLARiiON(R) IP4700 Network Attached Storage system, as well as SOTAS’ network management applications, that include SecureWave(tm), for fraud detection and management, and AssureWave(tm), for quality of service and network performance monitoring.
Each company will sell and service their respective products, with cross-training, strategic work sessions, and technical experts provided by both companies.
