Storage Computer Corporation today announced that Gary Hoffman has joined the company as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. He will report to John Thonet, Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Storage computer said Hoffman was previously Vice President of American Sales for Informix Software (formerly Ardent Software) in Westboro, Massachusetts. He was responsible for expanding revenue from $3 million in 1997 to $27 million in 1999. At Praxis International he was instrumental in signing eleven international distributors and organized, staffed and deployed new database replication software division. Hoffman also served as Vice President of Sales for both Matrix One/Adra Systems Inc. and Epoch Systems Inc., at each company he was responsible for sales in excess of $20 million and established sales strategy.
