StorageASP Inc. today announced a partnership with
Igloo Security, Inc. to standardize on Igloo’s ESM
(Enterprise Security Management) solution “SPiDER-1” for the data
protection security component of their data protection suite of services
at Internet Data Centres (IDC) throughout North America. In addition, the
two firms will work together to develop a new suite of products
specifically for the SSP marketplace.

According to the companies, SPiDER-1 is an ESM suite of products allowing security administrators to

in one package.

In addition to standardizing on SPiDER-1, StorageASP has agreed to jointly
work with Igloo to develop a Data Protection Services Management Module
aimed at the North American SSP marketplace. Igloo and StorageASP will
work together to jointly market and sellthe new product, known as
“SPiDER-xSP”.

Igloo and StorageASP will provide joint guideline and specification to
further develop SPiDER-xSP, based on the existingSPiDER-1 product suite.
StorageASP has integrated Igloo SPiDER-1 and SPiDER-xSP within its Data
