StorageTek Restructures Services Group

Storage Technology Corp.(StorageTek) has realigned its services group into what it calls a full-service organization that addresses all customer needs.


The company said its new Global Services Business Unit includes four sections: Infrastructure and Support; Network Interoperability and Integration; Infrastructure and Management; and Business Continuity and Recovery.


The first part, Infrastructure and Support, offers traditional
support services for StorageTek products and also acts as a single
point of contact and expertise for other vendor products.

The second part, Network Interoperability and Integration Services,
aim is to increase the value and functionality customers derive from their
IT infrastructure initiatives by implementing properly designed
solutions into any operating environment.

The third part, Storage Infrastructure and Management Services,
assess customers’ business models in relation to their information
infrastructure and maps their business critical issues based on each
customer’s needs.

And the fourth part, Business Continuity and Recovery, provides business
continuity assessment and audit services for customer
environments while delivering architectural solutions.
