Tivoli Certifies Brocade and IBM Storage Infrastructure Products

Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. this week announced that the entire Brocade SilkWorm(R) family of fabric switches and the IBM SAN Fibre Channel Switches produced by Brocade — including the IBM 2109-S08, IBM 2109-S16, and IBM 3534-1RU SAN Fibre Channel Managed Hub — have been certified by Tivoli as Tivoli Ready.

“Tivoli is working with partners like Brocade to help ensure that Tivoli products can manage heterogeneous SAN environments within the context of a larger enterprise infrastructure,” said Jose Iglesias, vice president, Tivoli Storage Management Products. “Tivoli Ready makes it easier to manage an e-business infrastructure as a whole.”
