Jan 24, 2002

SAN Valley Systems announced that the company has finalized a reseller contract with Total Tec, an enterprise solutions integrator. Total Tec plans to bundle the SAN Valley SL1000 IP-SAN Gateway as part of its business continuance program.

“As the largest reseller of Compaq and Brocade equipment, Total Tec is a very strategic channel partner for SAN Valley,” stated SAN Valley Vice President of Sales Peter Jordan. “Total Tec has a prestigious reputation and vast experience in the Fortune 1000 enterprise arena. Through the reseller agreement, enterprises seeking to extend Fibre Channel SANs over distances at high speeds will benefit from our SL1000 IP-SAN Gateway and its seamless interoperability with existing SAN infrastructures, saving time and implementation costs.”

Total Tec said it provides pre- and post-sales consulting support and installation services in its business continuance program, with specific focus on Compaq’s Data Replication Manager application using the SL1000 over metropolitan area and wide area network (MAN/WAN) environments. According to the companies, SAN Valley’s SL1000 IP-SAN Gateway was tested at Total Tec’s integration labs to ensure interoperability.
