Data Storage vendor Verbatim Corporation today announced a new Data Recovery Service.

According to Verbatim, the service is designed to provide dealers and their customers with reliable, cost-effective data recovery, and can be used to recover lost data from virtually every operating system and storage device. Verbatim’s in-lab and remote recovery options include hard drives; tape backups; optical media; and all types of removable media, including CDs and DVDs.

Verbatim says it has established an online request program where resellers or customers can fill out a service request form. Requests are acknowledged by email with a Priority/Tracking number that customers can use to check the status of their data recovery. In addition, a dealer feedback mechanism is employed that keeps the dealer informed on the progress of their customer’s data recovery.
