Agiliti, Inc. announced today that it added two new sales partners to the growing list of organizations working with Agiliti to sell and implement rented applications and services to business customers.
The new sales partners are The Woodburn Group (St. Louis Park, Minn.) and Ciceron Interactive Solutions (Minneapolis, Minn.).
In late March, Agiliti announced a new distribution model for the application service provider (ASP) market by aggregating best-of-breed rentable applications and services, and enabling independent sales partners like The Woodburn Group and Ciceron I efficiently deliver them to their end-user customers.
“Even with all the hype surrounding the ASP industry, the truth is that most small- to mid-sized businesses still don’t know where to turn for rentable applications and services,” Tom Kieffer, chief executive officer and chairman, said. “Our approach is to simplify the process of finding and renting these services by giving organizations the tools they need to easily and efficiently deliver rentable applications to their existing customer base.”
Agiliti’s sales partners include accounting and professional service firms, Web developers, VARs and vertical market trade associations and consultants.
“For a professional service firm like ours, Agiliti’s approach offers an alternative to purchasing the application and maintaining an internal IT staff and infrastructure,” John Woodburn, president of The Woodburn Group, said. “By partnering with them, we’re able to easily offer our clients rentable applications and IT services. In addition, this will allow our clients to stay focused on their core competencies.”
Agiliti’s proprietary technology allows Agiliti to aggregate and manage rentable applications and services for sales partners and end-users no matter where the applications and services are hosted, and ensures secure, reliable delivery of these offerings. This technology also allow Agiliti’s sales partners to “meter” and bill for application usage in a variety of ways-according to the number of users, on an hourly-usage basis, or even by attaching prices to individual features or components of particular
applications.
Agiliti has partnerships with a number of leading rentable application providers, including Great Plains, Microsoft, Intershop, eALITY, Roving Software and salesforce.com.
