ASP aggregator Agiliti Inc. today (Nov 20) announced a strategic alliance agreement with Intel Online Services under which Agiliti will deliver services to global businesses through an Intel-managed hosting strategy.
Customers now can implement leading eCommerce applications such as Intershop and Vignette within Intel Online Services’ global network of Data Centers. They also benefit from a single point of accountability from Agiliti, 24×7 Agiliti One-Call customer care, a single invoice and streamlined management and reporting.
“Combining our innovative services with Intel Online’s managed hosting provides a highly scalable solution that is now available on a global basis. Our customers are very excited about our alliance with Intel Online Services and many have expressed interest in the solution it creates,” said Agiliti chairman and CEO Tom Kieffer.
Agiliti is adding Intel Online Services’ managed global solutions to supplement its hosting centers in Minnesota. Intel Online Services provides its customers with a range of services including fully managed application hosting and AppChoice Managed Hosting Services, which provide ASPs and others control over their mission-critical applications. Intel Online Services has established Internet Data Centers, designed for optimal reliability and performance, in Santa Clara, California; Chantilly, Virginia; Reading, England; Tokyo, Japan; Seoul, Korea; Sydney, Australia; and Mumbai, India.
“Agiliti is an emerging leader in delivering multiple rentable applications and management services to customers. The bottom line for customers will be reliable, secure, end-to-end business solutions from two trusted companies with established track records,” said Intel Online Services president Mike Aymar.
In addition to established relationships with a large portfolio of rentable application providers, Agiliti also has developed relationships with a number of Solution Partners — organizations who sell and implement these rented applications and services in the marketplace, including accounting firms, systems integrators, web developers and vertical market specialists.
