Intel Online Services Inc., Monday (March 12) announced a new marketing program for ASPs, the Intel Online Services ASP Accelerator Program, which provides comprehensive marketing programs and a service foundation that allows ASPs to differentiate their businesses.

The ASP Accelerator Program is open to all ASPs to host their applications on Intel’s highly reliable and scalable AppChoice Managed Hosting Service. More than 40 ASPs have already joined the program, including Captura, MedSpecialists and Webversa.

“Intel Online Services is a natural choice for ASPs looking to expand their business,” said Mike Aymar, president of Intel Online Services. “We bring innovative technologies, key marketing resources, and dedicated support that enables them to package complementary services into a much more competitive offering for their customers.”

ASPs that join the program receive valuable marketing tools to help build their businesses, including branded sales collateral and potential joint marketing funds. In addition, all program members get “matchmaking” introductions to other potential customers and strategic allies that they can work with to package complementary services. Program members also are featured on the Intel Online Services Web site.

Companies that participate in the ASP Accelerator Program use AppChoice Managed Hosting Services. The program benefits ASPs by providing a flexible and scalable foundation for integrating mission-critical applications. AppChoice Managed Hosting is designed for customers that want to share control of their solutions while utilizing a fully managed hosting service.

AppChoice offers an integrated solution that includes a platform of hardware, operating systems and applications combined with integrated monitoring and response, data protection, security, solution maintenance and reporting capabilities. AppChoice also comes with a service level agreement covering infrastructure availability and guaranteed response times to critical operational events.

“AppChoice provides a reliable, high-performance foundation onto which our global, web-based automated payment processing solution can be accessed from anywhere and be integrated with our customers’ financial systems,” said Dan Vetras, CEO of Captura. “Intel Online Services provides the flexible tools that we need to monitor and control our systems allowing for increased customer service.”

“AppChoice is a solid foundation that helps ensure that our Voice-to-Enterprise business is running with optimal reliability and scalability,” said Janet C. Wylie, president and CEO of Webversa. “We look forward to expanding our hosting relationship with Intel Online Services and benefiting from the ASP Accelerator Program.”
