Apogee Networks Taps Asian Market

Apogee Networks, an infrastructure independent software vendor (ISV), announced Tuesday that it had entered into a partnership with Tokyo-based Itochu Techno-Science Corporation (CTC).

Apogee Networks is based in Saddle Brook, N.J. and provides content and IP rating, billing, and settlement platforms. It recently announced the opening of its Asian headquarters in Tokyo. CTC is a enterprise network systems providers with 120 partners in nine countries.

“Apogee Networks has seen significant growth in revenues as it continues to win customers throughout the United States and Europe. Our accelerated efforts in Asia represent a major new revenue opportunity,” said Nina Aversano, Apogee Networks’ executive vice president of Worldwide Field Operations.

Apogee Networks NetCountant Billing and Settlement software aims to provide end-to-end billing capabilities as well as real-time billing, flexible service creation, advanced content processing, revenue settlement capabilities and high scalability for ASPs, content distributors, ISPs, carriers, wireless Internet providers and Global 2000 Enterprise customers.

Its NetCountant Accountability software is designed to provide large global IP networks with the capability to identify, measure and bill back network bandwidth consumption. According to Apogee Networks, NetCountant Accountability supports complex pricing, including time of day, region, user, or application and so on.

Apogee Networks is included in the ASPnews Global 200 Directory of leading companies in the ASP industry.
