Computer Sciences Corporation to Deliver ASP Services to Cygnifi

EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA–Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) will provide its eHub application infrastructure support services to Cygnifi, an online derivatives provider recently launched by LabMorgan, the online finance unit of J.P. Morgan.

CSC entered into a three-year agreement with Cygnifi to deliver managed, end-to-end application infrastructure support with leased, on-demand capacity. CSC’s eHub services will provide Cygnifi with faster time to market while reducing the risks associated with rapid development and unpredictable demand as it moves applications to full production.

CSC’s eHub provides total application lifecycle management for securities industry clients, including application development, staging, stress testing, operations, and monitoring, as well as messaging and transaction routing, advanced security architectures, and integration with special-purpose networks.

“CSC’s industry experience, coupled with its superior technical architecture and flexible pricing model, made it a natural choice to support our application hosting needs,” said Vlad Torgovnik, Cygnifi’s president and chief operating officer.

“CSC’s eHub is the technology lifeline for securities firms managing mission-critical applications,” said Van Honeycutt, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of CSC. “By delivering highly available, scalable, and secure systems, CSC lifts clients out of the technical infrastructure to focus on the applications and processes at the heart of their business.”

Cygnifi is innovating derivatives services by delivering sophisticated products via the Internet. Cygnifi delivers pretrade pricing, independent portfolio valuation, counterparty credit, and collateral risk management services with an ASP delivery model.
