Conxion Corp., the Santa Clara, Calif-based MSP, today announced it is extending its managed security services to customers using NetScreen Technologies from, a leading developer of ASIC-based Internet security systems and appliances, integrated firewall/VPN products.
Conxion has already integrated the NetScreen-500 and NetScreen-100 products into its service offering for customers, and major customers like Borland Software Corp., a provider of e-business platform solutions have deployed the NetScreen-100 for their managed service.
“We are hosting our new software development services platform with Conxion, and this includes working with the company’s security group to build the best solution for us,” said Pat Kerpan, vice president and general manager of TeamSource DSP for Borland.
“The NetScreen-100 that Conxion has integrated into TeamSource DSP provides the throughput that is vital for our customers, who need secure, yet rapid access to their information.”

“Since Conxion has chosen NetScreen devices and joined our ‘Secured By NetScreen’ program, they can provide the increased security those customers demand,” he explains.

For that reason we decided to partner with NetScreen,” said Phil Simmonds, senior director of product marketing at Conxion.
The Secured By NetScreen program is designed to help service providers deploy NetScreen-based network security offerings. Conxion will receive intensive training, professional services, and expanded sales, marketing and technical support as part of the program.
