Adding to its suite of personalization services,
Internet service provider EarthLink
Tuesday released a Web site creation tool for its members.

Click-n-Build is a free tool designed to help members create, publish and
update a personal Web site. Earthlink has previously made Web site space
has available to all its members, but decided to add Click-n-Build to
target users not familiar with HTML code. Until now, only 23 percent of its
reported 190,000 users took advantage of the Web site space.

“One of our most important goals is to empower our members to make the
Internet their own,” said Veronica Murdock, vice president of member
services at EarthLink. “This is one more way for us to help them feel
comfortable with all the different cool things the Net lets them do.”

Features included in Click-n-Build are a friendly interface, pre-designed
templates and a toolbar with one-button previews and publishing.
