Fastclick, a Santa Barbara, Calif.-based online advertising network and services provider, today announced the launch of AdServer an ASP-delivered ad serving solution.

AdServer is based on Fastclick’s existing technology and features, according to the company, several key components that advertisers and publishers require — for example, unlimited ad variations, tools designed to help maximize resources and optimize budgets, and a pay-per-use pricing model.

“The product was developed to meet the growing demand for a better and more responsive ad serving solution,” said Shayne Mihalka, vice president of Business Development for Fastclick. “Initial reaction has been extremely positive and the features that have been designed into this product, such as multi-tiered response based optimization and flexible pricing models, have been well received.”

In the past year Fastclick said it has served more than 1.5 billion monthly impressions on 8,300 sites.

“AdServer will result in a new level of performance and pricing possibilities for ad serving solutions,” said Mihalka. “The type of optimization we are able to provide will benefit both publishers and advertisers, exceeding their previous expectations.”
