Fujitsu Subsidiary Deploys Salesforce.com

Salesforce.com added another win to its growing client list. Most recently, USA Today and Dow Jones Newswires have implemented salesforce.com CRM solutions and according to investment firm Morgan Stanley, more companies have chosen salesforce.com than any other vendor over the past two years.

Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), a subsidiary of Japan’s Fujitsu Limited and a supplier of hard drives and computer peripherals, has deployed salesforce.com’s online CRM solution to enhance collaboration with its U.S. distributors and channel partner customers.

“We’re pleased that Fujitsu Computer Products of America selected salesforce.com over traditional client-server CRM packages to help realize impressive market growth, and we look forward to supporting its ongoing CRM efforts,” said Marc Benioff, chairman, president and CEO of salesforce.com.

FCPA began a strategic leadership push earlier this year for its hard disk drive (HDD) products group and customer relationship management is an integral element in that endeavor. Salesforce.com’s integrated online sales force automation, customer service and support management and marketing automation applications have enabled FCPA to heighten responsiveness to customer needs through a complete and transparent view of all sales and marketing activities across the distribution chain.

“Salesforce.com’s CRM solution strengthens our partner and customer relationships, and enables us to collectively focus on delivering significantly more value to customers at all points in the distribution chain,” said Lorne Wilson, vice president of channel sales and marketing, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc.
