iCan SP Inc., a Computer Associates International Inc. (NYSE: CA) subsidiary specializing in business-enabling software for the hosted-services market, and Dublin-based MSP Trinity Technology today announced a partnership under which Trinity will integrate its leading eBusiness Integration Center (eBIC) service offerings with iCan’s comprehensive suite of service provider solutions.

Trinity is Europe’s leading managed services provider (MSP) with core services that include operations monitoring and management, operations hosting and management, ebusiness applications and operations outsourcing and ebusiness solutions and management. iCan’s Provider Suite provides sophisticated customer service capabilities specifically designed for xSPs, application hosters and other IT service providers.

Integrating iCan Provider Suite with Trinity’s eBIC minimizes entry and operations costs for Trinity’s clients, providing a platform for a more reliable, higher-quality service. Additionally, time-to-market for new offerings are reduced and customer service is improved while the service provider’s operational efficiencies and operating margins are increased.

Components of the iCan Provider Suite that Trinity Technology will incorporate into its service offerings include:

  • iCan Meter – which will enable Trinity’s SPs to collect information from all data sources across domains and meter application, server and network activity. Trinity will also be able to generate reports by usage, account or individual user.
  • iCan Assure – which let’s Trinity’s ISVs define and measure service-level objectives and create new service offerings without additional coding. In this way it can customize offerings to meet specific customer requirements, and monitor and enforce SLA compliance.
  • iCan Bill – giving Trinity’s users the ability to price its services on cost of service, as well as to create flexible billing rate plans, customize billing statements to match customer preferences, and charge customers and pay supplies based on actual performance against SLAs.

“We are committed to offering our customers the most advanced services in the market and iCan’s technology is the leading solution in the ASP marketplace today,” said Frank Ennis, CEO Trinity Technology. “There is a great synergy between ASP building and Managed Service Provision so the iCan SP Provider Suite is a key strategic solution for Trinity Technology and complements our existing core MSP business model. Trinity Technology can provide the complete ASP enablement service offering – developed and tailored to meet specific client requirements.”

“As one of Europe’s leading MSPs, we are delighted to partner with Trinity Technology,” said iCan CEO, Nancy Li. “iCan’s Provider Suite will support Trinity Technology’s commitment to profitably, deliver customer-driven offerings and is part of our ongoing commitment to the growing European xSP market.”
