Loudcloud, TMR Team for Government Contract

Loudcloud, Inc. and Technical and Management Resources (TMR), Inc. have been awarded a contract by a U.S. government agency to assess and analyze its Web site architecture. Utilizing Loudcloud’s Performance Testing Service, TMR and Loudcloud will conduct stress testing and provide recommendations to the agency for how to maintain their Web site to avoid capacity bottlenecks in the current Web site architecture.

The contract marks the first time Loudcloud, with headquarters in Sunnyvale, Calif., and operations in Fairfax Station, Va., and TMR, also of Sunnyvale, Calif., have worked together. TMR currently provides a variety of services to the U.S. government and other customers, which include strategic planning, market analysis, systems design and implementation, training, and on-going operations and maintenance support.

TMR has provided support to U.S. government for approximately three years, working with the Information Resource Management Division (IRMD) responsible for delivering business and mission services.

Loudcloud, Inc. offers a suite of managed services that allow enterprise corporations to outsource their complex Internet operations. The company deploys, manages, secures, scales, and monitors e-business systems using its Opsware technology, which automates functions otherwise done manually. Customers maintain control over their systems via myLoudcloud, the company’s customer portal.
