OfficeMax Adopts iPrint Technology

Online print shop iPrint (NASDAQ:IPRT) today (Dec 11) announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with, the e-Commerce business unit of OfficeMax Inc. (NYSE:OMX). This agreement extends an existing two-year partnership and allows for the seamless integration of iPrint’s expanded online print shop technology and hosting services into Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The expanded relationship centers on iPrint’s XML CommerceConnect, an e-printing XML-based integration technology to connect separate commerce websites into a seamlessly integrated shopping experience. iPrint’s technology will allow OfficeMax customers to purchase or reorder business printing directly through the OfficeMax site without going through any intermediary electronic shopping cart, which until now was the only alternative in the e-printing industry. iPrint is the only e-printing company to offer this application program interface (API) shopping technology.
