Purchase, N.Y.-based ASP Interliant, Inc. , today announced that it is providing the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), a trade organization that promotes auction methods, with its INIT branded managed hosting solution.
In addition, Interliant’s was also responsible for designing and launching the NAA’s new Web site.
Interliant says it worked with the NAA to formulate an ‘Auction Alert’ function so that visitors can to set up a national search for specific types of auctions, as well as providing daily technical updates to the site’s online member directory and calendar of upcoming events.
“We wanted a new site that catered directly to the needs of our members, while taking on a new look and feel to effectively marketing member auctions to consumers,” says Patrick Murphy, Web editor for the National Auctioneers Association.
“Interliant has provided us with a cost effective way to have a reliable site that acts as a hub for our members and their consumers. With our site hosted and maintained at Interliant’s data center, we are free to focus on serving our members,” he continues.

This is the second association in as many weeks that is using Interliant’s managed infrastructure solutions.
Last week the firm announced it would manage the entire IT infrastructure for The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), a leading professional association and resource on workplace learning.
In addition to managed hosting and Web site design, Interliant also provides offerings in managed security, vulnerability assessments, Internet strategy, and content management applications.
