Stream International, a Canton, Mass., provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software and services for call
centers, has promoted Robert T. Dechant to COO.
Previously, Dechant was senior vice president of sale and marketing. In his new role, he is responsible for Stream’s North American operations, which include half
the company’s 22 call centers and a majority of its revenues and employees.
Reporting to Dechant are the heads of operations, sales, marketing, human resources and business segments for Stream in North America and India.
“Bob has extensive experience in the customer-care industry,” said Steve Moore, Stream’s president. “The combination of his industry knowledge, client
relationships and thorough understanding of client requirements is expected to enhance Stream’s position.”
Denchant joined the company in 1997. He previously held posts at Software Support/Matrixx Marketing, Worldtek Travel and IBM. Stream is a subsidiary of
Solectron Corp.
