Palo Alto, Calif.-based TIBCO Software Wednesday named Christopher O’Meara as the company’s CFO. O’Meara was formerly the company’s vice president of finance.
“Chris has been a significant contributor to TIBCO during the past three years,” says TIBCO chairman and CEO Vivek Ranadive. “After a thorough search of candidates in the marketplace, Chris emerged as the clear choice for CFO. I am very excited to continue working with Chris as we extend TIBCO’s leadership in the integration software market.”
Prior to joining TIBCO, O’Meara spent ten years at Adaptec where he served as the company’s vice president of finance and treasurer.
TIBCO technology was first used to digitize Wall Street and has since been adopted in diverse industries including financial services, telecommunications, electronic commerce, transportation, logistics, manufacturing and energy.
