AccuSoft Corporation this week released NetVue V2.1, the latest version of its Web-centric document management solution which includes many new features designed to help companies “maximize their knowledge-base and manage information” online.
Features new to this release of NetVue V2.1 include an Annotations Support Module, support for additional formats such as PDF, Word and Excel, local saving functionality, automatic reporting capabilities, an enhanced monitor program, improved browsing options, along with additional customizing options.
Using the Annotations Support Module, users are able to annotate documents and
save those annotations for future use. Documents that are supported by NetVue, which includes over sixty file formats, may be annotated. Writing tools for annotations include lines, arrows, rectangles, ellipses, polygons, text, attach-a-note, and time stamp. Annotations can be hyperlinked, moved, deleted and its properties may be changed. By combining the NetVue server with this Module, the product allows maximum efficiency in relation to performance and network traffic.
Security and access measures enable a system administrator to determine the number of user groups and assign access levels depending on their individual needs. NetVue provides the user with only the functionality and features that are available for that particular user.
