Equilibrium today announced the availability of Equilibrium DeBabelizer 3 for Macintosh, a tool designed to automatically process multiple graphics files for delivery in any medium, including print, multimedia, digital video, interactive television, and the Web.
DeBabelizer 3’s new features include an intuitive drag and drop interface, support for more than 100 file converters (including all CMYK formats), and easy-to-use conditional scripting.
Users can now simply drag and drop any number of graphics files (TIFF, JPEG, GIF, etc.) onto a Script target or designated “hot folder” on their desktop or local network to automatically process, optimize, and convert the files to more than 100 file formats. Many of DeBabelizer’s most popular Batch functions–Batch Save, Batch Catalog, Batch Thumbnail, Batch SuperPalette–have been streamlined into one-button functions to save user’s time.
Optimizing Web images has been simplified by enabling users to enter a URL or drag and drop an HTML file onto a BatchList window to automatically download, process, and optimize the Web page’s graphics with Equilibrium’s proprietary SuperPalette technology, or save out the images for use in another medium.
Equilibrium DeBabelizer 3 includes support for CMYK images and robust conversion between CMYK and RGB color spaces, making it easy to process, optimize, and convert any number of print images for delivery in electronic mediums.
