ICVERIFY Releases E-Commerce Transaction Processing Solution

ICVERIFY Inc. recently announced it
is shipping
NetVERIFY, its new transaction processing software for Web commerce sites
and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

NetVERIFY is able to process most credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard,
American Express, Discover Card, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, JCB and
private-label credit card transactions.

The tool includes more than 250 processor certifications, effectively
allowing merchants to work with more than 99% of U.S. banks.

NetVERIFY allows merchants and ISPs to carry out the administrative
functions of transaction processing from remote locations using a standard
Web browser. It sets up payment processing links between merchants and
their banks, giving merchants the ability to choose whichever communication
method is most appropriate for their situation.

The software’s communications options include standard dial-up connections,
leased lines, or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Internet connections. Later this
year NetVERIFY will be able to utilize direct SSL to processors, with
additional support for Secure Electronic Transactions (SET).

NetVERIFY resides on a server located behind a firewall, and
allows administrators to choose whether transactions are processed in
real time or batch mode. The tool allows eight simultaneous connections from
shoppers with a single line out to processing networks with additional
licensing for expansion available.

NetVERIFY is purchased on an annual lease basis; first-year leases for
Windows are priced at $900, with subsequent years at $450, including
upgrades, updates, maintenance and basic support.
