Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2010 has already established itself as a popular choice for developers building on Windows, .NET and Silverlight. Now VS2010 customers are getting an improved tool to help them get things done: Productivity Power Tools for Visual Studio 2010 is getting an overhaul, with a number of new features — namely, new and revamped Tools — as well as bug fixes.

Those enhancements include easier ways for users to manage which Power Tools they’re using, as well as new tools like Solution Navigator and Tab Well UI. Code Guru has the story.

Microsoft announced this week it is shipping an updated version of its Productivity Power Tools for Visual Studio 2010, a set of extensions for the company’s premier programming environment that’s designed to streamline developer productivity, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.

“With this release, we’ve introduced four brand new extensions and we’ve fixed many of the bugs that were reported in the previous version,” Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) spokesperson Sean Laberee said in a post to the Microsoft Visual Studio blog Sunday.
