Microstate Corp. Monday released Hamilton, its thin-client, open-source and cross-platform Java-based Web application server.
Microstate’s server technology already includes most of the infrastructure
required by typical thin-client applications, which reduces the development
time and expense and accelerates the application’s time to market.
Developers and end-users can utilize their Web browser to access the
applications developed with Hamilton.
By using the Hamilton Web application server, companies can deploy and
maintain large scale applications over networks without regard for the
end-user’s operating platform.
According to Microstate, Hamilton is the answer for developers who need a
Web application server that facilitates rapid application development of
thin-client, Web-based business applications. The use of Hamilton
simplifies the maintenance of content once the application has been deployed.
William Woods, chief executive officer of the Bermuda Stock Exchange, is among the company’s satisfied users.
