Canada.com, AvantGo Target Palm OS, CE Devices

[Toronto, CANADA] Canada.com has inked an agreement with mobile
Internet company AvantGo to offer mobile users of handheld devices
access to the canada.com portal at no extra cost.

Users of the popular Palm OS and Windows CE-based devices can now
access canada.com’s content from a variety of mobile devices via the
AvantGo mobile Internet service.

AvantGo service: the latest national and world news including
business, technology, sports, entertainment and health news; the
latest scores for sports teams; the performance of the top market
indices, including the TSE 300, S&P 500, Dow Jones, CDNX and NASDAQ
composite from canada.com Finance Channel; the Canadian exchange
rate; winning lottery numbers including national and regional game
results; a full listing of upcoming and newly released movies; daily
horoscopes from one of Canada’s most popular Astrologers.

For current AvantGo users with Palm OS or Windows CE devices, there
is no additional software installation necessary. New canada.com
users can follow a simple step-by-step process to load the necessary
software located at the AvantGo site.
