CIBC Wood Gundy announced the addition of Canadian
ABS/MBS information to its CIBC World
Markets
Web site.

The move was in response to increasing investor demand
for timely accurate information and increased disclosure, the company said.

The securitization market in Canada is growing rapidly leading to an
increase in investor’s demands for access to information, according to David
Allan, Managing Director and Head of Canadian Securitization, who “views
this as a strong positive step to satisfy investors concerns regarding the
timely and accurate disclosure of performance and other information relating
to securitized transactions.”

Content on the site includes research on Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and
Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), MBS valuation information and Portfolio
Management Reports for investors in Asset-Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP)
issued by conduits managed by CIBC Wood Gundy.

The inclusion of ABS/MBS information on the Internet is a first for a
Canadian investment dealer and demonstrates CIBC Wood Gundy’s commitment to
the future growth of this market, which will depend, in part, on the quality
of information available to investors.

CIBC Wood Gundy is the Canadian investment banking arm of CIBC World
Markets, which offers credit and capital markets services globally. It is
one of the CIBC group of companies, one of the ten largest banks in North
America.
