POPcast Communications Corp. has announced the
completion of a licensing agreement with Click2Asia, Inc.
that will offer a customized version of POPcast’s
personal video sharing service to members of the Asian site.

“In the process of building the premier site for the global Asian
entertainment community, we are working hard to incorporate the latest
technologies available for our members,” said Joseph Cheon, CEO of
Click2Asia, which is headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Greater
China and Korea. “Through this arrangement with POPcast, we are pleased to
be the first Asian-oriented Web destination to offer our members the simplest
and most reliable experience for sharing their personal video and media
related content.”

“This partnership proves that, globally, the demand for audio and video
sharing services has arrived,” said William Mutual, POPcast’s president and
chairman. “As an important, rapidly emerging high-profile community, we’re
especially proud to provide our services to Click2Asia.”

Under the one-year agreement, Click2Asia’s community members will be able to
upload up to ten megabytes of audio or video content for free, encoded at
rates as high as 220 kilobytes-per-second.
