Dell Computer Corp. Tuesday unveiled a trading
workstation designed for the online investing community.

The Precision Workstation 220 combines financial data analysis software
vendors, data services and online brokerages. Customers can configure the
Precision Online Trading Workstation on the
company’s Web site and choose from a selection of software
and services from such financial operations as Equis International, Indigo
Investment Systems, Neovest, Data Broadcasting Corp., Buy Sell or Hold
Company, CyBerCorp and TRADESCAPE.com.

The system meets the needs of serious online investors, according to Dave
DuPont, Dell marketing manager.

“This community needs high-performance systems for complex dataanalysis,
real-time data feeds, in-depth information access and intense
graphics to quickly compile research and execute trades,” he said.
