Digimarc Corp. released the Digimarc Batch Embedder, a standalone product intended to make it easier to embed watermarks and produce Digimarc-enhanced images.
Aimed at image-rich sites, it is designed to combine advanced batch processing and intelligent embedding, adding the benefits of the vendor’s copyright protection and image tracking to each image.
“The advanced features and functionality of the Batch Embedder are derived from
our customer and technology experience,” said Scott Carr, VP of business development for Digimarc. “In this tool, we’ve built-in intelligence that tunes the embedding process for each image, delivering
reliable embedding for a wide range of Web applications.”
The Batch Embedder streamlines the embedding process, providing support for marking single image files and folders of images, interactive exception handling, process logging, and automatic generation of image and transaction IDs, the vendor stated. It places a hidden message that is imperceptible to the viewer
into each picture.
The Digimarc Batch Embedder is available immediately for Windows
98/95/NT and Macintosh PowerMac for a suggested retail price of $79.95.
